Ensuring Safe Tenant Eviction Amidst Behavioral Concerns
CaptureINTEL was hired by a property management team to assist with the eviction of a tenant at an apartment complex who had been verbally and physically abusive towards other residents and the management team. Due to the tenant’s unpredictable behavior and suspected mental illness, there were significant concerns about how he would react to the eviction notice.
Our team worked closely with the property management group, assessing the building and preparing for various potential scenarios to ensure the safety of everyone involved. On the day of the eviction, CaptureINTEL was present when the tenant was informed. We escorted him to his unit, where he would collect the remainder of his belongings.
Once inside his unit, the tenant became belligerent and attempted to quickly barricade himself by locking the door. Thanks to the preparation and experience of the CaptureINTEL agent, we were able to prevent him from locking the door and barricading himself inside. The agent acted swiftly, taking control of the situation and ensuring the tenant could not prevent the process from proceeding.
After de-escalating the situation, we successfully escorted the tenant out of the building with the personal property he had in his possession. He was informed that he was no longer permitted on the property, and he left the premises without further incident.
